Hello I’m not sure I know what to say to you except that I’m a good listener to anyone who would like to talk. My husband was in the Airforce for over forty years and I worked in the Med Centre at RAF Coningsby In Lincolnshire and helped four Padres at RAF Leeming! It doesn’t matter who worked with as I would think all the Services have similar problems . We all have our stories to tell and who ever reads this - I would like to hear yours. You are never alone surely there is help x

I've seen first hand the mental damage that can be caused by being in combat. I live near the largest training camp in the UK. Whilst I've had partners before with mental health issues. The guys and girls in the forces carry their PTSD differently. Instead of it being about self I always get the impression that their struggles are in memory of their colleagues and friends I know there is a way forward and you guys can (with the right support) find peace. Never give up xx

Christmas isn’t just a time for gifts, it also a time to reflect on the past year, and on what you have, I’m grateful to have my kids, at Christmas, but I realise some people are alone, that makes me sad, if you are alone this Christmas or any other time of year, reach out there’s always someone who needs a friend, and it’s ok to not be ok, just don’t stay there, there’s plenty of love to go around, and your worth it!
