I grew up in Belfast during the troubles. I’m the wife of a former soldier, who has struggled with post traumatic stress disorder. I know firsthand the personal sacrifice so many of our young servicemen and women made, and continue to make, even though they may long have left the service. Being our strong tower and protector came at too high a price. One that claimed lives but also relationships, joy and peace of mind. I personally want to thank you for your service to my country.
