Hi Veteran, my name is Audrey. Both my husband and son have served with the colours, the Border Regiment and the Royal Engineers. I know how hard it is to put the memories of active service to rest. My husband fought in Burma in ww2. My son in Iraq and Afghanistan. I hope that if you do struggle with negative memories you will be able to put them aside and enjoy your Christmas. I wish you joy.
