My understanding of the bravery and strength required to be prepared to give your life for your country is second hand - but through my family I have some idea. Who could be surprised if such bravery, alongside the unimaginable things you must have witnessed, leaves scars. If these scars have left you suffering, maybe isolated and lonely as well, please don't think that no-one cares. You are a hero and I care! Thank you for your service to our country. I hope you have the best Xmas possible!!
