I am a 65 year old Englishman who (with the exception of a few years in the 1960s when the nuclear threat seemed very real) has always felt safe and secure in my country. This is primarily down to the fact that I have been protected from threats from other nations by you and others like you. I can not imagine what it would be like to wake up each day wondering if my home was to be taken by an invading force or whether I could not have food or warmth. So please accept my heartfelt thanks.
