My husband and I both served and we are very lucky to have each other. I also have a faith which means I never feel alone, but I do understand that others do. Please know there are many people who are very grateful for your service, whatever or wherever it was. We are the Poppy Appeal Organisers for Faversham and every year we get lots of kind comments and raise a lot for the British Legion. Reach out because there are many people out there who would love to support you and do care.
