I'm sitting in bed reading about the first world war and suddenly moved to tears realising that the peaceful life I've enjoyed so far was built by the generations of my countrymen before me. I am so grateful for their bravery and sacrifice, and how they took up such a heavy duty in all wars before I was born. If it comes to it in my lifetime, I know I will have to do what I can to protect future generations. Thank you so much, your service is appreciated deeply.
