Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a genuine hero and an extraordinary human being. If there were more like you, this world would be a better place. I have two sons and had they chosen your path, I would have been proud and worried for them in equal measure. I feel the same for you. If Help for Heroes can ever come up with a way to put veterans in contact with a family to spend Christmas with, if they need it, then I assure you there will be a spare chair at my table.
