I wanted to write to you to share my admiration and respect for what you have done and continue to do. The things you have withstood are testament to your training, skill and dedication. You have defended the pillars of our country and done so uncomplaining and without hubris. You represent the best of us, and while I may never know you, I thank you and hope you recall with pride, all that you have done and achieved and live prosperously now in peace.
