My Grandfather was gassed in the First World War together with the gun carriage horses he was caring for. He never talked of his experiences but his suffering for his country was a proud endurance for him. On a trip to Canada I was humbled to meet a family who had lost family members in France in WW2. They too were proud of their suffering for the good of mankind. Never, ever, think that you and your service to protect fellow man, will be forgotten. Your bravery and courage awesome. Thankyou.
